Permanent Makeup
Nanoblades are 1/3 the size of a Microblade. This provides the most natural looking results, and less trauma to the skin.
Topical 5% Lidocaine and a secondary numbing gel are used to make you comfortable during the treatment, however, pain tolerance varies for each client. Having the procedure done during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity. You may take Tylenol before your appointment if you are concerned with discomfort.
You cannot receive permanent cosmetics if you answer "yes" to any of the following:
About 2 hours. This includes a consultation, numbing, before/after photos, mapping/measuring the brows, selecting pigment color, and the actual procedure. The 4-6 week touch up takes about 1.5 hours.
Permanent makeup is designed to slowly fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, skincare, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo.
*Please note: final results vary and cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the skin as it heals. A follow up is required (4-6 weeks) where we will assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary.
If you want to thread, wax, or tint your eyebrows you must do so at least 3 days before your appointment.
You must not use Retin-A, Retinol, acids, anti aging, or acne products around the brow area for at least 2 weeks before and after your appointment.
Doing any of the following will cause unnecessary excessive bleeding during the procedure and will hinder your final result:
-Do not take blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, or fish oil) 24 hours before your appointment.
-Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
-Do not drink caffeine 12 hours before your appointment.
If you have had permanent cosmetics in the past, please schedule a complimentary consultation so I can evaluate your brows in person and see if you're a good candidate. In most cases, previous work needs to be 50-75% faded. Our skin can only hold so much pigment at one time and if the brows are too saturated, any work that I do will not stay. I always have your best interest in mind and I don't want you to invest in a service that will not give you the best results possible.
Facial Waxing
Some products that conflict with waxing are: Accutane, Differin, Retin A/Retinol, Glycolic acid/AHA's, ProActive, Avita, Benzoyl peroxide, Salicylic acid/ BHA's, and chemical peels. We recommend discontinuing the use of these products 10-14 days before your appointment in order to avoid trauma to the skin.
